1. Professional Conduct
Use OnBoard as a professional hiring and work community. Be accurate, dependable, and constructive in profiles, job posts, applications, reviews, and messages. Do not pressure another user to move a conversation off-platform for a suspicious or unsafe purpose.
2. Respect
Communicate respectfully even when declining work, rejecting an application, disputing a record, or raising a complaint. Disagreement is allowed; personal attacks, humiliation, intimidation, and deliberately disruptive behavior are not.
3. Harassment
Do not threaten, stalk, bully, sexually harass, repeatedly contact after a clear request to stop, or share private information to shame or endanger someone. Serious threats may be reported to appropriate authorities where required or reasonably necessary for safety.
4. Discrimination
Do not discriminate, encourage discrimination, or publish hateful content based on a characteristic protected by applicable law. Job requirements must relate to genuine work needs and must comply with human rights obligations.
5. Spam
Do not send repeated unsolicited promotions, duplicate job posts, mass messages unrelated to legitimate hiring, deceptive links, chain messages, or automated content that interferes with other users or the platform.
6. Fraud
Do not misrepresent identity, authority, work history, qualifications, jobs, compensation, invoices, availability, or payment status. Do not manipulate reviews, verification records, hours, applications, or platform metrics.
7. Fake Jobs
Organizations may post only genuine opportunities they control or are authorized to recruit for. Fake, bait-and-switch, advance-fee, data-harvesting, misleading, expired, or intentionally duplicated jobs are prohibited.
8. Fake Workers
Workers may not create false identities, use another person's experience or documents, fabricate supervisors or employers, or misrepresent legal ability, availability, progression, licensing, or certification.
9. Scams
- Never ask for passwords, one-time codes, or full payment-card details.
- Do not request gift cards, cryptocurrency, money transfers, or equipment purchases as a condition of an unverified job.
- Do not send malware, impersonation links, fake invoices, or requests designed to take over an account.
10. Reporting
Report suspicious jobs, messages, profiles, documents, or conduct through the available reporting or support tools. Provide relevant facts and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Reports must be made honestly and must not be used to retaliate against another user.
11. Enforcement
OnBoard may review reported or safety-relevant content and may issue education, warnings, content removal, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent suspension. The response depends on severity, evidence, risk, prior conduct, and legal obligations.
12. Permanent Suspension
Permanent suspension may be used for serious or repeated fraud, violence or credible threats, exploitation, identity theft, forged credentials, severe harassment or discrimination, harmful scams, repeated evasion of restrictions, or other conduct that creates substantial risk.
13. Appeals
A user may ask OnBoard to review an enforcement decision through Settings > Contact Us / FAQ. An appeal should identify the decision and explain why it may be incorrect, with relevant supporting information. Filing an appeal does not automatically restore access while the review is pending.
Policy updates
These policies may be updated from time to time. Continued use of OnBoard after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policies, where permitted by law.
